This beginner-friendly course introduces Filipino youth to the basic concepts, uses, risks, and responsible practices of artificial intelligence. It is designed to help young people understand how AI works, how it appears in daily life, and how it can be used safely and responsibly for school, leadership, advocacy, and community work. Artificial Intelligence is now part of everyday life. It appears in search engines, social media feeds, online maps, shopping apps, chatbots, grammar tools, photo filters, and many other digital platforms. For Filipino youth, AI can be a powerful tool for learning, productivity, creativity, leadership, and community engagement. However, AI also comes with risks. It can produce false information, reflect bias, misuse personal data, and encourage overdependence. This course helps learners understand both the benefits and risks of AI. It also teaches practical ways to use AI with responsibility, honesty, safety, and human judgment. By the end of the course, learners will be able to explain AI in simple terms, identify common AI tools, use AI for practical tasks, recognize AI-related risks, and apply responsible AI practices in school, work, advocacy, and community projects.
